China's top legislator Wu Bangguo and Austria's President have agreed to expand cooperation on bilateral and international issues in the face of the global financial storm.

Wu is in Vienna on an official goodwill visit. He says China attaches great importance to further developing relations with Austria. Wu says the two countries should enhance mutual understanding and trust to deepen cooperation in various fields, and carry out close coordination and communication on international affairs.

On China-EU relations, Wu Bangguo says both sides should firmly support each other's development by joining hands to address global challenges.
