The 123 people who came into contact with the confirmed case of A/H1-N1 flu in Chengdu, have been released from medical observation. Another three are expected to leave isolation on Sunday afternoon.

The Chengdu Municipal People's Government has released a video clip showing the dismissed people moments before they were released from isolation on Saturday afternoon. They were happy to return to society.

But the local government says medical staff will still keep contact with them.

He Jun, Spokesperson of Chengdu Municipal Health Admin., said, "According to the criteria by State Ministry of Health, these people are freed from medical isolation. But we will keep a close eye on them and keep in close touch with them. And another piece of good news… we have discovered no new confirmed A/H1N1 flu cases or cases of flu-like symptoms in Chengdu. But we can't relax, because our battle is far from over."

Three people remain in isolation, including the confirmed patient's father, girlfriend, and a taxi driver, but they will also leave isolation on Sunday afternoon if everything goes well. Working staff are still required to disinfect twice this hotel—the isolation center—more than 30 kilometers away from the Chengdu downtown area.
