Liang, Xu and Jiang win National Autocross Huairou stage

The National Autocross Huairou stage had three of its group finals raced out on Monday.

The races, even though they were held on familiar terrains, were not without their share of incidents.

The drivers showed their confidence before the race, not knowing the pitfalls that would lie ahead. The seemingly benign route turned out to be quite a turbulent one, ripping off tires and throwing open doors.

As well, normally uneventful obstacles including bridges, the teetertotters and the bomb-hollows somehow all created plenty of trouble for the drivers.

Liu Xueyuan of the "New Driver Group"was leading most of the way, but with victory close-at-hand, it would evade him when his car turned sideways while passing one of the teetertotters near the end of the race.

He was forced out of the race, unharmed fortunately.

The champion of his group went to Liang Yongcheng of the Golden Leaf team. Xu Ying of the Oriental team won the diesel, while Jiang Yao of the Yangtze team won the gas category.
