Cross over was the name of the game on Tuesday evening. Pop, Chinese folk tunes and classical arias. "Spicy Lady", performed by Song Zuying and an American pop music band, enthralled the audience.

The packed house was set afire when Taiwan's R&B king Jay Chou appeared. His duet with Song Zuying, "Thousands of Miles Away", fused pop and Chinese folk.

The pair also showed off their other musical talents.

Lang Lang backed Song Zuying for her signature hits "Love My China", and "My Home Country."

And Placido Domingo provided an international touch when he joined Song Zuying for the Chinese folk song "Kangding Love Song", in Chinese.
