| Rescuers have found the bodies of two workers who disappeared after a blast at a chemical plant in central China's Henan Province early on Wednesday. |
The municipal government at Yashi City where the plant is located, has ordered further investigations into the accident. A local official says a fire in a warehouse caused the explosion of about 10 tonnes of chloro-benzene, a flammable material used for making other chemicals.
Local environmental regulators have sealed the discharge pipe at the chemical plant and are closely monitoring the air quality around the area. Tests have shown that the explosion caused no pollution to local rivers or groundwater.
