Fireworks concert ready for Shanghai

During the National Day holiday, residents and tourists in Shanghai will enjoy a grand spectacle at the 10th International Fireworks Festival.

According to organizers of the Shanghai Tourism Festival, the fireworks concert will be held at Century Park on September 30th, October 3rd, and again on October 6th. In addition to pyrotechnics from Italy, Britain, and Switzerland, three Chinese fireworks makers will also participate.

To mark the 60th anniversary of the founding of New China, the fireworks displays will feature two additional chapters of "Ode to the Yellow River" and "The Vision of Peace and Prosperity".
