NEW YORK, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Barack Obama and Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama met here Wednesday on the sidelines of the general debate of the UN General Assembly, the first meeting between the two leaders since they assumed office early this year and six days ago respectively.
