CHICAGO, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the People's Republic of China (PRC) on Oct. 1, a spectacular China Day Parade was held successfully in Chicago Chinatown Sunday, which attracted over 30,000 people from all over the city.

The parade featured 22 floats, 2 dragon teams, 3 lion teams, 30marching Groups, 8 marching bands and officials and dignitaries. The parade is a joint effort by Chicago Chinese community, Chinese Consulate in Chicago and the city of Chicago.
