Popular Expo exhibition moves to Shanghai

The World Expo 2010 Exhibition held at Beijing's Capital Museum in July will open in Shanghai to mark the 200-day countdown to the event.

Shanghai Exhibition Center on Yan'an Road M. will house the popular exhibition, which drew a total of 96,821 visitors in Beijing from July 5 to July 27.

Covering 1,200 square meters, the most detailed Expo exhibition uses more than 200 pictures and 18 videos to illustrate the World Expo from its origin and its evolution. It also features models of 60-plus pavilions and a number of multimedia displays.

Visitors will get the most official, first-hand and detailed information regarding the master plan and preparation of the Expo.

The free exhibition will run through October 26 from 9am to 5pm (entry stops from 4pm). Group visitors can book on 63353338, 63353336 or 63353335.

Meanwhile, the Expo Exhibition Center on Huaihai Road M. will close temporarily from October 13 to 26 for interior decoration and upgrade.
