Olympic champions Du and Yu take women's doubles badminton title at National Games

QINGDAO, East China, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- The Olympic champions Du Jing and Yu Yang clinched women's doubles badminton gold medal at the 11th Chinese National Games here on Sunday.

The Liaoning duo took down Zhao Yunlei and Wang Xiaoli from Hubei 21-13, 21-14.

Du and Yu overcame Lee Kyung Won/Lee Hyo Jung of South Korea to secure a gold medal in the Beijing Olympic Games, the fourth consecutive one for Chinese women's doubles badminton.

In last National Games, Du and Yu settled for a bronze medal finish.
