KABUL, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- The Afghan election authority's decision that sitting President Karzai had won the election is not legitimate, Karzai's top challenger Abdullah Abdullah said on Wednesday.

The Afghan Independent Election Commission Monday announced the presidential run-off election has been canceled with Karzai being the final winner.

The decision came after Abdullah withdrew on Sunday from the run-off set on Nov. 7.
