Seventeen people managed to break a world record by cramming into a classic Volkswagen Beetle over the weekend.
The 21st annual Pasco County Bug Jam was held at the county fairgrounds.
The current record for the most number of people crammed into a VW Bug was 15, set in Rio de Janeiro. Sunday, they broke it by two people.
To count, everyone involved must be at least five feet tall and 18 years old. The doors and windows have to be closed for at least five seconds.
"It was crazy in there. It was just hot and sweaty and cramped up. The guy who was in the front, I just kept putting my feet on his head and he was OK about it," laughed participant Barry Dawson.
All of the proceeds from the event went to All Children's Hospital. Since the Bug Jam started, it has raised nearly $150,000 for the hospital.
