DPRK high-ranking official meets French special envoy

PYONGYANG, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Kim Yong Nam, top legislator of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), met here Thursday with Jack Lang, special envoy of the French president, the official news agency KCNA said.

The report, however, didn't mention specific details about the meeting between Kim, who is president of the DPRK's Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, and Lang.

Lang arrived in Pyongyang on Monday and met Foreign Minister Pak Ui Chun on Tuesday.
