The students staged ten productions -- dramas, dance, and music. They were from the Central Drama Academy, the Shanghai Drama Academy, the Shanghai Music Conservatory, and the Shenyang Art Institute.

Of all the shows, the play King of Qin Kingdom won the highest acclaim. Set in a chaotic period of war over two thousand years ago, the production examines the clashes both on the cultural and political fronts during the early years of Chinese civilization. All of the 30-plus actors came from the Central Drama Academy in Beijing.

Other productions included Gadfly by the Shanghai Drama Academy, a concert of orchestral works by students at Shanghai Music Conservatory, and a dance show choreographed by young artists at the Shenyang Art Institute.
