KATHMANDU, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Microsoft Nepal is organizing a software competition among students to develop Microsoft Multipoint software that would enable up to 30 students to use computer at once from a single computer, the National News Agency RSS reported on Wednesday.
Resident Manager of Microsoft Nepal Allen Bailochan Tukadhar was quoted by the RSS as saying the competition will begin from December 25.
With the help of multipoint software, up to 30 students will be able to use a single computer at once by using different mouse and screens, Tuladhar said, adding that the concept was developed to benefit students in the remote rural areas.
The application information and application forms are available on the company's website, he said, adding that the selected best 10 students will tale part in the World Prime Student Technology Competition Image Cup to be held in Poland in 2010.
