Asian arts entertain people in HK

Asian ethnic performing arts were featured in Hong Kong on Sunday ahead of the 2009 East Asian Games.

The event was organized by the local Leisure and Cultural Services Department and featured performers from nine East Asian countries. The highly diverse program includes instrumental performances, singing, traditional opera, and folk dances. Efforts were also made to promote the East Asian Games, which are scheduled to open in Hong Kong on December the 5th.
