Expo Forum (Macao) serves as the key platform for different regions in the Chinese mainland to participate in the event and promote the 2010 Shanghai Expo. The forum is jointly hosted by the World Expo 2010 Shanghai China Executive Committee and the government of the Macao SAR.

The theme of the event builds on the theme of Shanghai Expo "Better City, Better Life"; the first and second sessions of the Forum are "Heritage by technology and innovation" and "Infrastructure development Accelerated by staging global events" respectively. It will be an excellent opportunity to share views on sustainable urban development for better life.

Construction of the Macao Pavilion for the World Exposition 2010 Shanghai China is close to completion. The Macao Pavilion will be covered by a double-layer glass membrane and fluorescent screens. Kinetic balloons will form the head and tail of the "rabbit." In Chinese mythology, the jade rabbit welcomes visitors to a magical fairyland.
