For those of you who are mobile addicts, the latest news for the Shanghai World Expo will be available for your phones. China Unicom is collaborating with dozens of major domestic news agents, newspapers, and networks to bring the news to the tips of your fingers.

China Unicom has launched a bilingual daily newspaper with video for handset users.

It's the first mobile newspaper with video content nationwide. China Unicom is working with Ku6-dot-com and over 50 major press and media, including Xinhua News Agency.

For overseas visitors, Shanghai Unicom and Shanghai Daily are jointly developing a 3-G application and an English-language mobile website for the six-month expo. More than 80 percent of overseas Expo visitors, which are expected to hit 3-and-a-half million, will use phones under Shanghai Unicom's WCDMA or broadband code division multtiple access network. China Unicom, China's NO.2 mobile carrier, has invested 700 million yuan in telecommunication infrastructure construction for the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai.
