About 13,000 servicemen from the Interior Ministry, the armed force and other services were taking part in the drill, commanded by Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev, Panchenkov said.

The drill aims to test the combat capability of security forces in case of terrorist attacks, and hone the cooperation between the Interior Ministry and the law enforcement agencies from federal districts.
