BEIJING, March 7 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met with domestic and overseas journalists Sunday morning on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature.

The press conference was held at the Great Hall of the People in the heart of Beijing.

FM says 2010 "a very important year" of China's diplomacy

"We will be very active in carrying out all-around diplomacy, with a priority given to summit-diplomacy and diplomacy surrounding the world Expo," Yang said.
