CFA President Wei Di makes strong statement on CCTV

As the Chinese Football Association gears up for another season, it continues to deal with the cheating and gambling scandal that has rocked the sport. CFA President Wei Di appeared on CCTV to talk about the efforts the league is taking.

CFA President Wei Di said, "Our attitude from now on, I want to convey our attitude through CCTV, is that the China Football Association will have no tolerance for any illegal activities. We will actively cooperate with public security officials to fight all problems of fraud, gambling and cheating in Chinese football".

Wei Di also says that this Friday, the CFA will assemble all officials from the Chinese Men's and Women's Super League, as well as CFA Jia and the Yi League to discuss the upcoming year. The Chinese Super League will start March 27th in Beijing.
