Kyrgyzstan pledges compliance with commitments to CSTO

BISHKEK, April 11 (Xinhua) -- Kyrgyzstan will strictly comply with commitments to the Collective Security Treaty Organization ( CSTO), Kyrgyz Acting Defense Minister Ismail Isakov told the CSTO Secretariat on Sunday.

Kyrgyz Defense Ministry will also continue close cooperation with the CSTO Secretariat in terms of military and territory security, Isakov stressed.

Isakov made the statement at the meeting with CSTO Deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov, who led a CSTO delegation to Bishkek since April 8.

The CSTO delegation has met with leaders of political parties and law enforcers and will draft a detailed report on the events in Kyrgyzstan for the CSTO Collective Security Council, Strugovets said.
