Quake relief in action: Tianjin donates 10 mln yuan to Qinghai

TIANJIN, April 15 (Xinhua)-- North China's Tianjin Municipality announced Thursday that the city will donate 10 million yuan to the quake-hit region in northwest China's Qinghai Province.

A medical rescue team of 32 people set out for Qinghai on Thursday morning, said a spokesman with the municipal government.

Meanwhile, the city branch of the Red Cross has opened a quake-relief donation hotline 27300620.
