8 killed in SW Pakistan blast

ISLAMABAD, April 16 (Xinhua) -- At least eight were killed Friday in a blast in the southwestern Pakistani city of Quetta, according to local TV reports.

A cameraman with a local TV was among the several injured in the blast in the Civil Hospital in the capital of the southwestern Pakistani province of Balochistan.

Firing was heard after the blast.
