They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, which could be the case for Svetlana Kuznetsova. The Russian won the Miami Open in 2006 -- but has not been close to reaching those heights in South Beach over the last decade. But a win over Switzerland's Timea Bacsinszky would see her get back to the title match for the first time in ten years.

Kuznetsova in pink and blue at the top of the screen shocked world number one Serena Williams in the fourth round. The 15th seed would show off some good skills at the net, getting to the drop shot, and then the volley winner as we remain on serve in the opener.

Tied at five, and facing a break point, the Russian is forced to run all around the court on this point, before unleashing a wicked backhand winner -- that helps her hold serve, and eventually grab the frame 7-5.

In the second, Kuznetsova continues her fine form leading 3-2 on Bacsinszky's serve, she dictates play and comes to the net to smash home the winner.

The two-time Grand Slam champion would win three of the next four games, and seals victory with a cross-court backhand winner -- to grab a 7-5, 6-3 win. Kuznetsova is now into the final in Miami for the first time since 2006 when she overcame Russian compatriot Maria Sharapova.
