Bayern Munich host Benifca for the first leg of their last 8 tie. Currently Pep GuaRdiola's team are 5 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga and are hoping to go one better than last year when they were knocked out by eventually winners Barcelona in the semis. The Portuguese side on the other hand have never beaten Bayern and are looking to progress to their first semi-final in the competition in 26 years. (TAKE VO)

This will be the last chance for the Spanish coach to lift the Champions League as boss of the Bavarians and with Manchester City not certain to hold down 4th position in the EPL, there is no guarantee he will be involved in the competition when he departs for England in the summer. The German leaders will be without Arjen Robben who is dealing with a groin injury but Frenchman Kingsley Coman is set to return after being out with a leg strain. Benfica have won 19 of their last 20 in all competitions and the out-going coach is expecting a tough encounter.

Elsewhere Diego Simone takes his Atletico Madrid side to the Nou Camp in an all Spanish encounter as they take on defending Champs Barcelona. Currently Los Colchoneros are 6 points behind Barca in La Liga after their city rivals did them a favour Saturday by beating the Catalans. Luis Enrique has won all 6 matches as a coach against his Argentinian counterpart but the last time these two met in the competition Atletico came out on top en route to the final where they lost 4-1 to Real. Both teams have no new injury concerns and Simeone has said his team won't arrive at the home of the Spanish champs just to defend.
