New agreements between China and Nigeria expected to be signed

New agreements and memoranda of understanding between China and Nigeria are expected to be signed during President Buhari's visit.

According to the Nairobi-based Nigerian Television Authority, the West African nation is seeking to secure greater support from the world's second largest economy to develop infrastructure.  Target sectors are power, roads, railways, aviation, water supply and housing. Expected is a framework agreement to boost industrial activities and infrastructural development in Nigeria.

Others are a framework agreement between the Federal Ministry of Communications and the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, and a memorandum of understanding on Scientific and technological cooperation.
