In the face of the South China Sea dispute with the Philippines, our Foreign Affairs Reporter spoke with the Chinese Foreign Ministry's spokesman Lu Kang in an exclusive interview.
The Philippines unilaterally initiated the South China Sea Arbitration, and the Court of Arbitration is reportedly to announce its verdict in the coming two weeks. What's China's stance towards the arbitration case and how will China respond to the court's decision?
"China's attitude and position on this unilateral arbitration request has been very clear worldwide. We are not going to participate in it anyway. In this kind of mechanism, it will do harm to the interests of the international majority," said Lu Kang, spokesman of Chinese Foreign Ministry.
