Numbers for China's latest GDP growth was released, and international media and experts take the 6.7 percent figure as positive, saying the structural reform in China is making progress.

Reuters says although China's economy grew at its slowest pace in seven years, indicators from the country's consumer, investment and factory sectors point to nascent signs, and that the slowdown may be bottoming out. AFP quoted expert Louis Kuijs of Oxford Economics saying Friday's figures showed "a milder deceleration than many had feared", leading to "upward revisions" in growth forecasts.

The Business Times from Singapore quoted an economist, who said stabilisation was present in March, with property investment rebounding in January and February. And the BBC analyses that if the result is anything like the 6.5% minimum that the authorities are targeting for the next five years, it will still be pretty impressive by international standards.
