A group of 20 Chinese tourists who had been trapped in a hotel in Kumamoto are expected to fly home today. That's after coordination efforts by the Chinese Embassy in Japan and Chinese Consulate General in Fukuoka.

The travelers had escaped to cars outside the hotel, but landslides hindered rescue efforts. The Japanese side airlifted them by helicopter.
