A pair of Chinese giant pandas have made their public debut at an amusement park in South Korea. They were a state gift from Chinese President Xi Jinping, and arrived in South Korea early last month.

The pair of panda are on a 15-year loan. Ai Bao is a two-year-old female panda who is described as docile and charming, while her partner Le Bao is a three-year-old male panda with a lively and outgoing disposition.

South Korea received its first pandas from China in 1994 to mark the second anniversary of diplomatic ties.
