Chinese Ambassador to Japan, Cheng Yonghua, has visited Japan's Kumamoto prefecture to deliver one million yuan  as quake relief funds.

Cheng also paid a visit to the Chinese students in disaster-hit areas, saying that the Chinese embassy will provide necessary assistance whenever needed.

China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region government also donated 2 million yuan. The friendly relationship between the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Japan's Kumamoto prefecture has been established in 1982.
