Serbia's Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic is set to win a landslide victory in Sunday's general election. Vucic applauded his party's victory.
The Prime Minister called the elections two years before his term ends, saying he wanted a clear mandate from Serbia's 6.7 million voters for reforms to keep EU membership talks launched in December on track for completion by 2019.
But to achieve that, as CCTV Aljosa Milenkovic reports from Belgrade, the Prime Minister still needs more support from the parliament.
Serbians choose to give their trust to current PM.more than 50% vote. That give AV what he wants and what he thinks best for the country. EU membership likely by 2020. But have to change some terms in constitution, PM needs 2/3 parliamentary support. Have to create broader coalition.
