To report on a cross-border telecom fraud case that ends on the Chinese mainland. Malaysia has returned 97 Chinese suspects accused of telecom fraud to the Mainland authorities. 32 of those suspects are from Taiwan.
Chinese police say they are investigating the allegations and a trial date has not yet been set. Malaysia sent twenty suspects linked to the case to Taiwan authorities last month. All of the fraud victims are Mainland residents. Malaysia says it will transfer the rest of the suspects to the Mainland at the central government's request.
