In South Korea, a woman has hurled her kids from a fourth-story window to save them from a fire.

Last week, a fire erupted in a four-storey building in the city of Pyeongtaek, trapping a woman and her three children. The building stood on a narrow alleyway, making it difficult for fire trucks to reach the scene quickly.

The woman was finally convinced to throw her kids out of the window, and some residents on the ground safely caught them with a blanket. The woman jumped down herself and only suffered minor injuries.
