Syrian rebels have captured a strategically important village south of Aleppo from government forces. The rebels, including those from the al Qaeda-linked Nusra Front, launched an attack on government forces at the village of Khan Touman on Thursday, killing 73 people. The village is important because it located near the Damascus-Aleppo highway.
