Let's hear what some of the experts have to say about China's stock market slump.
"Firstly, the fundamentals have changed. Major economic indices suggest the economy has entered a stage of mild growth in starting April, compared with a sharp round in March. Adding that China will shift away from high leverage-driven growth, all of these have contributed to the stock slump today," said Gao Li, director research inst., founder securities.
"Investors have been adjusting their stock investment strategies as China tightens market liquidity. I think that's one of the key reasons that led to the market slump today," said Wang Jun, chief strategist China securities.
