To the CSL, where second placed Jiangsu Suning will host Shijiazhuang Ever-Bright. Dan Petrescu' men are still trying to recover from a brawl in Wednesday's Chinese F.A. Cup encounter with lower-tide side Wuhan Hongxing. Several Jiangsu players were attacked and injured during the fight that followed the final whistle. Shijiazhuang, meanwhile, hope to bounce back from a two-match losing streak.

The F.A. Cup match was a dull affair, as Wuhan players kept going down in an attempt to waste time and drag the contest into a penalty shoot-out. Jiangsu coach Dan Petrescu was sent off for protesting their delaying tactics. This resulted in 12 minutes of added time, which is when Suning scored the winning goal.

After the final whistle, the hosts from Hongxing in red began attacking the visitors from Jiangsu in blue -- chasing them off the pitch with kicks and punches, while spectators hurled bottles. Xie Pengfei, Ge Wei, and other Suning players were injured in the melee. The Chinese Football Association is still investigating the incident.

Jiangsu will be further shorthanded, as Alex Teixeria has been punished. In a league match last weekend, the Brazilian stomped Beijing Guoan midfielder Ralf, which earned him a yellow card. The Capital Club's Zhang Xiaobin then approached him, uttering some provoking words. Teixeira reacted by slapping Zhang, which earned him a red card.

Shijiazhuang meanwhile, will look to recover from two straight defeats. Beaten by Tianjin Teda 2-nil on the road at the beginning of May, the Hebei side lost again at home last Sunday, against SIPG.

In today's other matches, defending champs Guangzhou Evergrande are on the pitch as we speak against Hebei Fortune. And bottom club Changchun Yatai are hosting Shandong Luneng. Later, Henan Jianye will play Tianjin, while Beijing host SIPG. The Capital Club have just 6 points after 7 matches, and sit 15th in the table.
