Senior Chinese and US officials met in Washington on Thursday to discuss security issues. This year's China-US Strategic Security Dialogue was co-chaired by Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui and his US counterpart Antony Blinken.
The Chinese delegation said the two sides had a candid and in-depth exchange of views on regional security. They agreed to continue the dialogue to enhance mutual trust, promote cooperation and manage their differences.
