Two magnitude-5.3 earthquakes hit Xigaze City in the Tibet Autonomous Region this morning.

The China Earthquake Networks Center says the first quake happened at 9:48 a.m. in Dinggye County, Xigaze City, at a depth of 10 kilometers. The other quake hit shortly after at 10:05 a.m. in Tingri County, at a depth of 6 kilometers.
