Delegates from the US, Japan, and South Korea have held a meeting to discuss the current tensions over the Korean Peninsula.
US Special Representative for North Korea Policy Sung Kim, Japan's Director General of Asian and Oceanian Affairs Kimihiro Ishikane, and South Korea's Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs Kim Hong-kyun met at Tokyo's Foreign Ministry.
Tension on the Korean Peninsula has been high ever since the DPRK conducted its fourth nuclear test in January and followed up with test launches of various missiles.
