The NBA Finals that begin on Thursday night when the Cleveland Cavaliers travel to Oakland to face the defending champions the Golden State Warriors. This is a rematch of last year's finals, but the Cavs are a far different team as both Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving were out injured leaving LeBron James to take on Steph Curry and the Warriors almost singlehandedly.

The Cavs stormed through the playoffs losing only two games in three series. Both of those losses came against the Toronto Raptors who Cleveland beat in the eastern Conference Final. Lebron has been his usual self, leading the team with 24.6 points per game in the post season while Irving has 24.3. Love has been great on the boards with 9.6 rebounds per game. Golden State meanwhile had to come back from 3-1 down to beat Oklahoma City in a thrilling game 7 after Klay Thompson poured in an NBA playoff record 11 three-pointers while scoring 41 points to rescue the Dubs in Game 6. With the Cavs Big Three healthy and looking to avenge last year's loss, Cleveland coach Tyronn Lue was quick to point out that it will be a different series than the previous finals.
