An international youth robot competition is underway in the Belarusian capital Minsk.

Two contests will test students' knowledge of robot technology: A formula-one robot car race -- and a spacial recognition test. 

Building robots is a complex task, as it requires the know-how in physics, mechanics, and software engineering. China’s Ambassador to Belarus Cui Qiming says the event promotes cooperation between the two countries.
