Our reporter Ning Hong has visited the newly completed Taiwan venue in Xiamen, which will be used to showcase artifacts and crafts from the island. It will also be used as an exchange center for young business people. Let’s go and see what looks like inside the venue.

This year's forum has established a new platform for young people across the strait. It includes a competition for creative young entrepreneurs, an exibition for cultural and creative designers, and a new venue for startups from Taiwan and the Chinese mainland.

With more young people are choosing to become entrepreneurs these days, this is a new base for start-ups from Taiwan. Over 25 young companies have already based themselves here. More will come soon. There are various specific policies available to support them too from tax breaks to housing subsidies to free business consultation services.

These are all designed by college students across the Strait. The cultural and creative industry is developing fast here, with over ten thousand works on display. Almost half of them are from Taiwan.

The future of cross strait development depends on young people. After the forum, the Taiwan venue will continue to be used as an exchange center for young entreprenuers.
