20% of flights cancelled after Air France strikes

Around a quarter of Air France pilots are on strike to demand better working conditions. Leaders had hoped to avoid industrial action as France turned its attention to the European Championship soccer tournament. But unions plan to continue airline and refuse collection strikes until Tuesday.

Another day, another strike here in France. Because the Air France to cancel 1/5 of their flights on Saturday. It's very embarrassing for the French government. They have faced weeks of protests.

Most recently, garbage rotting in the streets. It's certainly not the image of France that the host nation wants to portrait to the world. But there was some good news for the host nation. They won their opening match on Friday night, beating Romania 2-1 here in Paris.
