NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg has said the alliance's defense ministers will agree to a deployment plan to boost its defenses against Russia.

Four international battalions will be sent to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland, four NATO members that feel most threatened by their eastern neighbor.

The battlions will be deployed on a rotational basis rather than being based permanently in the four countries. A meeting of NATO defense ministers will start in Brussels on Tuesday.
