Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and his German counterpart Angela Merkel have wrapped up the fourth round of Chinese-German government consultations in Beijing.

The consultation is a routine in-depth discussion between Beijing and Berlin. Li and Merkel discussed a wide range of issues including: trade, education, and technological innovation. Bilateral cooperation to develop manufacturing and third-party markets -- and China's global status as a market economy -- topped the agenda of the talks.
