Copa America as Uruguay took on Jamaica in their final Group C match. The South Americans with 15 titles have won this tournament more than any other nation, but won't be adding to their tally this year after losing their first two games ensured that they would be making an early exit.

The Jamaicans also have no chance to progress and when Abel Hernandez lifts a shot into the roof of the net, Uruguay take a 1-0 lead.

Uruguay double their tally in the 66th minute thanks to an own goal from Je-Vaughn Watson. The Jamaican defender looking for a place to hide after the embarassing mistake. The ball bounces off the Hernandez's foot and Watson somehow knocks it into the net with his hand. 2-0 Uruguay.

The final nail in the coffin for Jamaica, the only team to not score a goal in the tournament, would come courtesy of Mathías Corujo who goes in alone on the right wing and slots into the corner to make it 3-0 Uruguay.

Both sides are headed home with the injured Luis Suarez never getting on the pitch.

Here is how Group C looks after the pool games. Mexico drew 1-1 with Venezuela and both finished with seven points, but the Mexicans are on top thanks to goal difference. Uruguay's win is little consolation as they fail to make the knockout stage of the continental competition.
