Former Australian Prime Minister John Howard told CCTV  he does not believe the US will change its gun control laws after the Orlando mass shooting.

"Do I think anything will happen with the America's gun control laws? I would hope so. I don't presume to give lectures to the Americans. I respect the fact that their country's different from mine, culture is different. I have seen call of 'bill of rights'. We don't have one of those in Australia, or at least we never do, because they don't really guarantee rights. I hope that out of this misery something is done about gun control laws. But I'm not optimistic," John Howard said.
