Chinese President Xi Jinping will soon arrive in the Serbian capital Belgrade. He will meet with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, Prime Minister Aleksander Vucic and other political and business leaders.

The two sides will discuss ways to enhance political ties and promote the implementation of China's Belt and Road Initiative. They will also exchange views on international and regional issues. A series of deals are expected to be signed in various sectors. After Serbia, Xi Jinping will go on to Poland and Uzbekistan. He will also attend a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the Uzbek capital Tashkent.
